I downloaded a group of them from the latter and so now I have an already created folder for them, which I have moved from my Downloads folder to the root directory of my boot drive, which is critical. Alternatively, you can create our own folder in that location or in your User folder.

See my downloaded themes in Pic 1. Logic Pro X must not already be open for this to work. Now you can double-click the Logic Theme Switcher in the Applications folder to open it. If you are going to audition a bunch of themes, it may be handy to put it in the Dock. The first time you open it, it will prompt you to guide it to the folder where your themes are.

It then will make a copy of the Logic framework to a hidden backup folder, but please heed my earlier warning and do not rely solely on this. Better to be safe than sorry. If you have already chosen a custom theme, it will briefly give you a dialogue box to reset it to the default Logic Pro X GUI. See Pic 3. After a few seconds, that dialogue box will go away and will see the theme selector window that you see here in Pic 4.

I choose it and I see the dialogue box you see in Pic 5. OK, I am not feeling that one personally, so I want to try some others. Re: Want to have some free pro looking skins? In areas where you cant change the colour, the contrast between the letters and the background allways have to stay readable One other thing.. Anyway, good work.. Where have you found the info how to change the colour chemes? I personally found the basic contrasts of oak pretty good for long term working, reminds a bit t the old reaktor colour cheme, but with all this poo brown and the vomit green in the selectors..

While looking for new skins, you can also check out other things she has to offer such as classes, as there is always something you can sharpen your skills on. It does bring a futuristic look with those sharp yellow details on the pitch-black background.

You can easily search through the internet and find pretty much anything you can think of to satisfy your needs for a visual aid when working. This selection offers you starting points for your search. Installing a new theme for Ableton Live 10 is quite an easy thing to do. Download the skin you want on your computer 2. Download the theme onto your computer 2.

Find the Ableton application in your Applications Folder 3. Right-click on the application and pick Show Package Contents. Copy the skins you want there.
